ASTRODESIGN, Inc. (Head Office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shigeaki Suzuki, hereinafter referred to as Astrodesign) released a data transfer box HB-7521 compatible with USB3.0 which transfers data recorded in the dedicated SSD packs of Astrodesign 8K recorders and 8K camcorders to PCs.

HB-7521 is a device that transfers data recorded in the dedicated SSD-packs of 8K recorders and 8K camcorders to PCs.
Connect HB-7521’s USB3.0 Type B connector to USB3.0 port of the PC to be transferred, and use a dedicated application to transfer files.
Smooth file transfer can be achieved even in situations where the PC environment is not ready, such as in the filming location.

Main Functions

・Import the internal data (Astro proprietary compressed data) of the dedicated SSD pack to a recording device (SSD, HDD, etc.) connected to the PC while converting it to HQX AVI/DPX/TIFF.
・It is also possible to export from a recording device (SSD, HDD, etc.) connected to a PC to a dedicated SSD pack.
