ASTRODESIGN, Inc. (headquarter in Tokyo) released 4Kx2K Uncompressed Video Contents, “Seas of Ogasawara”. It shows the Ogasawara Islands and their offshore marine lives. The videos were shot by using a 4Kx2K shooting and recording system that were developed by ASTRODESIGN. This video can be used for demonstration and research & development purposes.
Outline of the 4Kx2K Uncompressed Video Contents “Seas of Ogasawara”
These videos were shot in February 2012 at the Ogasawara Islands (or Bonin Islands). These islands, which are a subtropical paradise in the Pacific Ocean, were registered as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2011. It is located about a thousand kilometers south of Tokyo. Using a 4Kx2K shooting and recording system developed by ASTRODESIGN, underwater photographer Mr. Masakazu Akagi took videos of the beautiful natural world of the Ogasawara Islands surrounded by deep blue seas, wildlives, whales and the underwater world.
