「Outline of product」

The VG-870A is a standalone type multiple-interface video generator, which can test most of Flat-Panel-Display in current market. It supports the HDMI digital interfaces with the latest standard Ver.1.3a, and also supports specific functions of HDMI 1.3a such as Deep Color (max.12-bit), xxYCC and LipSync.
The great expandability of VG-870 will be able to support interfaces and signals for next signal standards, and functional requirements in future. Also its High-speed-drawing processor supports Deep Color of RGB each 16-bit and Ultra High Resolution up to 330 MHz by optional upgrade(*subject to new device or interface board release).

「Feature」

●	Support various kinds of patterns and functions which are very often required in tests for flat-panel display TVs, such as Programmable Ramp pattern, RGB natural picture images, etc.
●	Contain a video memory with a maximum capacity of 4096 x 4096, and a new designed processor. It supports max 16-bit each for RGB, ultra-high resolutions up to 330 MHz, future digital interfaces like next HDMI over Ver.1.3 or DisplayPort, etc. by optional upgrade(*subject to new device or interface board release).
●	Test pattern drawing speed is significantly improved for reducing tact time in product lines.
●	With using jog dial, large-sized display panel and single-touch function keys, simple operations and reducing tact time can be achieved.
●	xvYCC(xvYCC709/xvYCC601) video standard, with a color gamut surpassing current HDMI, and a video delay(Lipsync) test function are supported.
●	Support for transmission and reception of CEC(Consumer Electronics Control) commands.
●	Digital output : HDMI 1.3a x 2, DVI x 1.
●	Analog output : RGB x 1, Dsub-15 x 2, YPbPr x 1, VBS x 1, S-Video x 1, SCART x 2
RGB output supports 10-bit gray scale, and is useful for gray scale tests of TVs which incorporate 10-bit processing devices and panels. This model’s ID display function for output interfaces is used for picture-in-picture tests.
